Not ready for a host program or a Webmaster - hell no - I rather have a raw blog to begin with and see how it goes.

Just thinking that people - hopefully - lots of people - are reading my  blog - my thoughts for the day - is like - wow - this is pretty amazing.

The niche for this blog - is to reach out to the newbie blogger out there - or anyone interested in blogging - to share what works for me and what doesn't.

Right now I am using Google Money - from a coupon - so that's okay - but if I start losing my own money - then that won't be okay!

A Blogger's top secret - is Google Adsense. I love it - and they let you use their affiliate Amazon Associates for free.  Free is good - and you can make money too!

Today, I would like to teach you - what is a link?  A link is something that will bring you to a specific website.  For example: a link for www.swagbucks.com will take you to that specific site. And, swagbucks gives you free stuff and is spam free.

A link is hypertext code underlined in blue.

Blog Success Stories

I really love reading Blog Success Stories. I guess that is because deep down inside I want my blog to get to a high rank in Google.  Being a newbie blogger so far I think I have done some things right.  Creating the blog was pretty easy.  Designing it was pretty straight forward too.

It made me a little nervous calling Google Support to find out why my Google Adwords were not getting that many - hits - clicks - and the pie graph would have these high and low cycles.

Right now it looks like the pie graph is in a very low cycle.  I only use Canada and the United State as my territory as that is enough to worry about.

The new Blogger interface is up and running and of course - I have to figure everything else out - all over again.  Well, that shouldn't be too difficult. Or will it?

I love featuring Blog Success Stories on my site - because - well - success is good!

I know that she tells you to have more followers than people your following on Twitter - but that is another area I am pretty new at - so thanks for the tip!  I guess I don't twitter enough.

Right now I am trying to use to the new Blogger interface - yikes - not sure I like it.

Stats are down right now - and - I really prefer the old Blogger interface - the dashboard - easier to understand - where in the heck did it go to?

Another problem is where did my Amazon Associates widget go to?  Come back - come back - wherever you are!

I think that the first year of blogging - your a beginner - and you have lots to learn.

Myself, right now I am just playing around with - Affiliate Marketing - and - blogging - doing it in my spare time - which we all have less of - all the time.  I applied to promote some makeup Affiliates - but have not been approved yet - so we will see.

The Affiliate Marketing Summit in Las Vegas - wow - I want to go there!

These people are promoting - Affiliate Marketing - something I myself - am just finding out about!

In a month or two I will be able to let you know if it works or not.

Blogging for Money is Complicated

You know what - blogging - for money is complicated.  I am beginning to think you need to be a real IT person to even half way understand it.

It is simple enough to design your blog - but - when it comes to the Monetization of the blog - then it gets kinda complicated.  Maybe that is why there is that book called: Blogging for Dummies.  I think I need to get that darn book.

The problem is this: Google Adwords drives traffic to your page - ok - I get that.  Google Adwords does cost money - but - they have a customer support person - who you can call - so that is good.  I am using Google money right now from a coupon - so that is good too.

The problem is that Google Adsense gets confusing and even though it`s enabled - it can stop making money - for some unknown reason.

Then there is Google`s Amazon Associates - that I thought - would always show up on each blog - wrong again - screw up your html code - because you forgot to save it - and in some blogs - like magic - it just does a disappearing act. Now that`s a problem as I am using that as a useful resource.

A Las Vegas Blogging Convention - wow!

Loving - Las Vegas holidays - the thought of going to a Las Vegas Blogging Convention - is really cool!  Wow - what a venue - at the Wynn Hotel.

One problem on my blog posts right now is that I stopped earning money from Google Adsense.  Another problem is that Blogger just changed their interface and I am so use to the old Blogger dashboard - which I just got used to - so I am a newbie blogger all over again.

The darn Amazon Associates tool for searching for adds and posting them on my blog has also hit a glitch - it hasn't been showing up - so I have been copying and pasting from other posts - so now my html code - might be messed up - I'm not sure!

This is a hobby for me right now - so - I have to stop Google Adwords - once my Google coupon money runs out. I am pretty sure I can start a new add campaign and get another coupon - will see!

See it gets pretty complicated in the Blogisphere.

Right now I have not been making money while I sleep.

But, I am still pretty excited about being able to listen in on how other Bloggers out their have made large sums of money with their blog.  Some of them started from scratch - just like me.

I still havn't figured out how to add Avatar comments - so sorry - if you have been trying to comment - cause your comments are not showing up just yet.

I have to check my stats everyday now - I am a little concerned that the blog was making some money and then it just died.  Again, maybe I need to change some keywords that I am using with Google Adwords.

Google Adsense should be making at least I would think about $1.00 a day - told you - newbie blogger - so don`t give up your day job.

Blogs That Make IT Big In The Blogisphere

Being a newbie blogger it runs through my mind - what kind of person - makes it big with their blog in this huge blogisphere?  It's like this big Universe of Blogs - and your just like that twinkling little star - will your star shine bright or dim and fade out?  That's really a pretty big question.

If your like me - you dive right in - create your blog - then you find some interesting content - to keep your readers happy.  If someone learns one thing from my blog site today - then I did something right.

My blog tip for today is - that - Google Adsense - seems to be acting up.  For two days now I have made zero money from any of my blogs whereas almost any other day I made at least one dollar.  Not much but something.  So, I did a little research and it seems that a lot of other people have had no revenue in the last few days.  Maybe it's a glitch in their system.

Another tip: right now I am using free coupon money from Google ADWORDS.  Now if I had  been using my own money - not Google's - I would have had no profit whatsoever.

So, I will have to phone the Google support guy next week and see what is wrong.  My blog keywords - should be making me some money.  Otherwise, what is the point of even using ADWORDS?  I mean you get the traffic - and no revenue - I don't think so.

I would suspect to get to the top of Google's rankings and to even be considered a top Blogger - one must become - at first anyway - a Blog-Aholic or Blog Junkie.

For whatever it's worth - I am not there yet - and - maybe that's a good thing.  I can learn, grown, express myself and not be consumed with competing - like I am sure - some Bloggers are!

Yes, yes, yes - I finally got my Google PIN number and so no more complaining that my money - the few dollars  - I have made from Google - will eventually pay me - for my writing - for my blog!  Wow, I am so excited!  Remember - all those insomniacs out there are clicking on my adds all night long - how I wish.

Affiliate Marketing really is something I know very little about - but - I plan to learn lots.  Not sure how I will do it -  but - I will do it!

How it works is something like this - I promote a product - on my blog.  In the meantime -  Google Adwords get the search engines to find my site.  I should get more traffic  -  to my blog - and then if someone likes for example an e-book and they order it - I would get a percentage.

I still love the idea of the 4 hour work week! Wouldn't that be wonderful? Without winning the Lotto. Well, that would be nice too.

Let Makeup Take Your Blog - to Number One on Google

When I woke up this morning the first thing I did was check the stats in Adsense. Adsense is a free on-line tool with Blogger.com or Blogspot.com once you decide to monetize your blog. You will see the tab for that when you start a new blog post.

I was disappointed - it seems no money was made yesterday - for whatever reason. So much for my wish upon a star - to become a number one hit with the google search engine. I told myself - remember - it takes time - to build - a good blog. Especially if your like me - a newbie blogger.

So much for making money while I sleep. Well, some days I actually did - believe it or not.

I am so jealous of those blogging icons who made it rich - 100,000 followers - a book - then a movie deal. Okay then, back to reality.

I was reading today about some of the top bloggers. You know what, they do get honourable mention - but I still like the little guy or gal out there struggling through all of the blogisphere gobbly gook.

I mean - hosting - not in cooking - widgets - not like in midgets - no wonder were looking at the computer in a daze. So much for the newbie blogger out there to learn - and you know what - no matter how long it takes - it doesn't really matter. It's your blog - your words - your own thoughs - so love it - get passionate about it - and just go with the flow.

Personally, one of the top bloggers I read about is Pat Flynn who in the recession was fired and he turned around and formed one of the best on-line blogs called smartpassiveincome.com - wow!  That is definitely a blog worth following.

Maybe that can be my niche - motivating people - to build their blogs through - pure - inspiration.

Newbie Blogger wonders if she will ever become a Millionaire Blogger?

I had a dream last night that - when I woke up in the morning - my computer was making tons of money - while I was asleep - and wow - just like that - I became a Millionaire Blogger!

So much for the dream - my total for the month so far from Google Adsense is $15.00 but I am so excited.

I talked to a Google Support person tonight and how I discover what I am making is - by subtracting what I make from Google Adsense from - what I am spending using Google Adwords. Since I am using Google Adwords coupon for $75.00 right now - how can I lose?

The customer support person from Google also told me that my add campaign looked good!

Right now I am waiting patiently in the mail for my Google PIN number so that Google Adsense can even pay me.

Back to being a Millionaire Blogger check out this video - from a guy who claims - he has a Millionaire System - going for him!

Wow - that was interesting!  Some people really know how to make money blogging!

I am going to be investigating how backlinks work - basically - you find great sites to link to - and I think they link back to you - once I know, I will let you know.

I'm going to try one link tonight and that is to a site called Flippa.com.  What I read on another blogging site was that someone had a really good paying blog and Flippa.com bought them out for about 20 grand. Wow can  you even imagine? Now that's a great way to make money if you ask me.

So tonight just think - theme - product - theme - product.

It's exciting just to look up the Adsense Stats every morning - and hold my breath - and see if anything has happened.

The Blog Money Just Keeps Rolling In

I am so excited that this month - so far - my blog has made a whole $15.00.  Yikes - I thought by now I would have made a  lot more - but I am a newbie blogger - trying to learn about all the Tips and Tricks about Blogging.

Has anyone had great success with Google ADWORDS which is an account that I got some free money from to start making money from my blog?  The link for this is: http://www.google.com/ads/adwords2/

I will have to call their toll free number as my program seems to be stuck and nothing is happening.  You can also lose money with this program -  so I want to make sure - it is working - and using Google's money.

Google Adsense which is a free program installed in Blogger when you monetize - that is where I made my big $15.00 - so maybe ADWORDS is just too complicated and not worth the trouble - I will let you know.  Before I lose money with ADWORDS - I can cancel the program if I wish.

So - the blog money - just keeps rolling in - a few cents at a time.  That's okay, I'm earning while I'm learning - which is pretty cool.

With the the recession in the United States and some unemployed Dad's in Canada - doesn't it make sense that they would start - stay at home businesses - and like the Mom's who are Mommy Bloggers - they are just Dad's who become - by default - Daddy Bloggers

 

Once the kids are tucked in their beds - the Mommy and Daddy blogging begins - they find themes - to fit their blogs - they buy e-books - on how to blog.

They are passionate - about what they write.

Joining Social Networks - so that they have other - bloggers - to connect with.

I decided to blog about beauty secrets today - as it is a huge niche - with fantastic growth potential for new bloggers.

Who doesn't want to know how to stretch their dollars - with inexpensive beauty secrets?

One way of saving money is to ask for samples from the drugstore - the ones you love - get the expensive ones for your face.

Use all the other samples you have collected from all of those beauty galas - yes -never ever throw them out - on your neck, elbows, hands and feet.

Personally, I am a Shoppers Drugmart Shopaholic - yes I love all of those Optimum Points - only stock up on 20X the points day.

Okay, so were at the stage in blogging where I am - confused - totally!!!!!

Make more money by getting more traffic on your blog

Okay, so I have helped you with the set-up of your blog with very basic tools used by Blogger or Blogspot.com.

Some people have spent years studying and trying to perfect their blog - to me - time - is money.

If someone else out their in the blogisphere can make hundreds and or maybe thousands of dollars blogging - well why not me - or better yet - why not you?
