When I woke up this morning the first thing I did was check the stats in Adsense. Adsense is a free on-line tool with Blogger.com or Blogspot.com once you decide to monetize your blog. You will see the tab for that when you start a new blog post.
I was disappointed - it seems no money was made yesterday - for whatever reason. So much for my wish upon a star - to become a number one hit with the google search engine. I told myself - remember - it takes time - to build - a good blog. Especially if your like me - a newbie blogger.
So much for making money while I sleep. Well, some days I actually did - believe it or not.
I am so jealous of those blogging icons who made it rich - 100,000 followers - a book - then a movie deal. Okay then, back to reality.
I was reading today about some of the top bloggers. You know what, they do get honourable mention - but I still like the little guy or gal out there struggling through all of the blogisphere gobbly gook.
I mean - hosting - not in cooking - widgets - not like in midgets - no wonder were looking at the computer in a daze. So much for the newbie blogger out there to learn - and you know what - no matter how long it takes - it doesn't really matter. It's your blog - your words - your own thoughs - so love it - get passionate about it - and just go with the flow.
Personally, one of the top bloggers I read about is Pat Flynn who in the recession was fired and he turned around and formed one of the best on-line blogs called smartpassiveincome.com - wow! That is definitely a blog worth following.
Maybe that can be my niche - motivating people - to build their blogs through - pure - inspiration.
