Just like - Writer's Block - I am experiencing - Blog Block!  Oh no!
So, I decided to just blog and blog and blog - and see what happens.
Testing one two three, testing.  Okay, nothing yet.  But wait, I am getting flashes of inspiration.

Why do I blog?  I love to write and - hey - you get lots of people reading your blog - free advertising - and your self-published - so to speak.

Yes, yes, yes - I finally got my Google PIN number and so no more complaining that my money - the few dollars  - I have made from Google - will eventually pay me - for my writing - for my blog!  Wow, I am so excited!  Remember - all those insomniacs out there are clicking on my adds all night long - how I wish.

Affiliate Marketing really is something I know very little about - but - I plan to learn lots.  Not sure how I will do it -  but - I will do it!

How it works is something like this - I promote a product - on my blog.  In the meantime -  Google Adwords get the search engines to find my site.  I should get more traffic  -  to my blog - and then if someone likes for example an e-book and they order it - I would get a percentage.

I still love the idea of the 4 hour work week! Wouldn't that be wonderful? Without winning the Lotto. Well, that would be nice too.

I have said it before - and I will say it again - it takes courage and commitment to - build your blog - take baby steps.  Nobody said it would be easy.  You need fresh content.  The more you write and add to your content the better your blog will become.

Not ready for a host program or a Webmaster - hell no - I rather have a raw blog to begin with and see how it goes.

Just thinking that people - hopefully - lots of people - are reading my  blog - my thoughts for the day - is like - wow - this is pretty amazing.

The niche for this blog - is to reach out to the newbie blogger out there - or anyone interested in blogging - to share what works for me and what doesn't.

Maybe I need a better template - hold on - I like this one right now.

Maybe Google Adwords - is working - but might just be too technical for me to understand - will see!

Right now I am using Google Money - from a coupon - so that's okay - but if I start losing my own money - then that won't be okay!

A Blogger's top secret - is Google Adsense. I love it - and they let you use their affiliate Amazon Associates for free.  Free is good - and you can make money too!

Today, I would like to teach you - what is a link?  A link is something that will bring you to a specific website.  For example: a link for www.swagbucks.com will take you to that specific site. A link is hypertext code underlined in blue. That's my tip for today - and - swagbucks - gives you free stuff! Free is good!!!!!!!

Let Makeup Take Your Blog - to Number One on Google

When I woke up this morning the first thing I did was check the stats in Adsense. Adsense is a free on-line tool with Blogger.com or Blogspot.com once you decide to monetize your blog. You will see the tab for that when you start a new blog post.

I was disappointed - it seems no money was made yesterday - for whatever reason. So much for my wish upon a star - to become a number one hit with the google search engine. I told myself - remember - it takes time - to build - a good blog. Especially if your like me - a newbie blogger.

So much for making money while I sleep. Well, some days I actually did - believe it or not.

I am so jealous of those blogging icons who made it rich - 100,000 followers - a book - then a movie deal. Okay then, back to reality.

I was reading today about some of the top bloggers. You know what, they do get honourable mention - but I still like the little guy or gal out there struggling through all of the blogisphere gobbly gook.

I mean - hosting - not in cooking - widgets - not like in midgets - no wonder were looking at the computer in a daze. So much for the newbie blogger out there to learn - and you know what - no matter how long it takes - it doesn't really matter. It's your blog - your words - your own thoughs - so love it - get passionate about it - and just go with the flow.

Personally, one of the top bloggers I read about is Pat Flynn who in the recession was fired and he turned around and formed one of the best on-line blogs called smartpassiveincome.com - wow!  That is definitely a blog worth following.

Maybe that can be my niche - motivating people - to build their blogs through - pure - inspiration.

I think that most - new bloggers - all have a dream - to work less - and still make money.

Newbie Blogger wonders if she will ever become a Millionaire Blogger?

I had a dream last night that - when I woke up in the morning - my computer was making tons of money - while I was asleep - and wow - just like that - I became a Millionaire Blogger!

So much for the dream - my total for the month so far from Google Adsense is $15.00 but I am so excited.

I talked to a Google Support person tonight and how I discover what I am making is - by subtracting what I make from Google Adsense from - what I am spending using Google Adwords. Since I am using Google Adwords coupon for $75.00 right now - how can I lose?

The customer support person from Google also told me that my add campaign looked good!

Right now I am waiting patiently in the mail for my Google PIN number so that Google Adsense can even pay me.

Back to being a Millionaire Blogger check out this video - from a guy who claims - he has a Millionaire System - going for him!

Wow - that was interesting!  Some people really know how to make money blogging!

I am going to be investigating how backlinks work - basically - you find great sites to link to - and I think they link back to you - once I know, I will let you know.

I'm going to try one link tonight and that is to a site called Flippa.com.  What I read on another blogging site was that someone had a really good paying blog and Flippa.com bought them out for about 20 grand. Wow can  you even imagine? Now that's a great way to make money if you ask me.

So tonight just think - theme - product - theme - product.

Tonight when I am tucked into bed - I will make a wish upon a Star. Maybe I will make - money - while I sleep.

It's exciting just to look up the Adsense Stats every morning - and hold my breath - and see if anything has happened.

The Blog Money Just Keeps Rolling In

I am so excited that this month - so far - my blog has made a whole $15.00.  Yikes - I thought by now I would have made a  lot more - but I am a newbie blogger - trying to learn about all the Tips and Tricks about Blogging.

Has anyone had great success with Google ADWORDS which is an account that I got some free money from to start making money from my blog?  The link for this is: http://www.google.com/ads/adwords2/

I will have to call their toll free number as my program seems to be stuck and nothing is happening.  You can also lose money with this program -  so I want to make sure - it is working - and using Google's money.

Google Adsense which is a free program installed in Blogger when you monetize - that is where I made my big $15.00 - so maybe ADWORDS is just too complicated and not worth the trouble - I will let you know.  Before I lose money with ADWORDS - I can cancel the program if I wish.

So - the blog money - just keeps rolling in - a few cents at a time.  That's okay, I'm earning while I'm learning - which is pretty cool.

With the the recession in the United States and some unemployed Dad's in Canada - doesn't it make sense that they would start - stay at home businesses - and like the Mom's who are Mommy Bloggers - they are just Dad's who become - by default - Daddy Bloggers

 

Once the kids are tucked in their beds - the Mommy and Daddy blogging begins - they find themes - to fit their blogs - they buy e-books - on how to blog.

They are passionate - about what they write.

I decided to blog about beauty secrets today - as it is a huge niche - with fantastic growth potential for new bloggers.

Who doesn't want to know how to stretch their dollars - with inexpensive beauty secrets?

One way of saving money is to ask for samples from the drugstore - the ones you love - get the expensive ones for your face.

Use all the other samples you have collected from all of those beauty galas - yes -never ever throw them out - on your neck, elbows, hands and feet.

Personally, I am a Shoppers Drugmart Shopaholic - yes I love all of those Optimum Points - only stock up on 20X the points day.

Okay, so were at the stage in blogging where I am - confused - totally!!!!!

I am so excited my Blog made money today!

You will laugh your head off when you find out that my blog made me about $1.57 today - wow - put that money in the piggy bank.

I am so jealous when I read stories about people who somehow have managed to find their niche in the market - and they are making at least a thousand a month.

Remember, it takes time and know how to set-up a good blog.  I am teaching you - and hopefully - you will be teaching me.

One thing I need to figure out is the style I want on my blog.  I love Avator comments - yet - still figuring out how to add that to this blog.

The blogisphere is pretty intimidating - yet fun - and adventurous at the same time.

Now that you know I'm a newbie blogger - I guess right now you could call it -  a hobby - that could turn into a business - one day - sooner better than later.

Dream big - that's how I feel.  

Right now I don't need a host company because Blogger is one of the best host companies out there - and it's free.  Enjoy the video.

Research - as you will need a lot of good content.

Then use for example: Amazon - which comes free  from Blogger - to find Affiliate Products to market on your blog.  Adsense is also free on - Blogger!

Let's say you want to build your site around - Everything Babies - a site for Mom's.  You would look in your Amazon browser and type in "babies" or "baby bottles" or "baby car seats" - you see what I mean - that's where you get free affiliate products to promote on your site.

Build your site first - I cannot stress that enough.

Checking Blog Stats Can Be Confusing for the Newbie Blogger

Traffic -  where is all of my traffic? I have been patiently checking every morning and night - the Stats tab on my  blogs - and - I really need more people reading them - and I just plain don't get it yet.

Using Twitter traffic - I'm tweeting - tweet - tweet!

Facebook - I'm slowly getting use to how it all works.

Google - I hope when I publish in Blogger it will automatically go out to the blogisphere!

Today, for the Blogger Newbies out there - I am going to experiment on this blog using both ADSENSE Adds and Amazon Affiliate Adds - all freebies - so I am getting to know more about blogging every single day.

When I strike it rich - you'll be the first to know.

Hopefully the traffic is going to get better and so will the blog.

Blogging for Dummies is the perfect name for a blog cause I feel dumb!

Whoever came up with the name - Blogging for Dummies - should have named a blog after it - not just books - cause after all the hard work of setting up a blog - I feel dumb.

On this blog I am using affiliate adverts from Amazon Associates - totally free.

I read somewhere that Wordpress.org is a better blogger site - but right now - I am not sure why?

Personally I have found Blogspot.com - more user friendly for the first time blogger - ya - all of us newbies out there.

When writing a post it is easy to - save -  go back and forth to the Dashboard - and edit whatever blogs you want.

Blogspot has many useful tabs: Posting, Comments, Settings, Design, Monetize, Stats, and view blog.

Just write and explore - that's my advice tonight - for all you NEWBIE BLOGGERS - out there in the Blogisphere.

Once were making fists full of dollars - hand over foot - whose going to be the dummy then?

My goal is simple: to make a $1,000.00 a month by letting my blog work for me.

So yes I have to do some leg-work but - overnight - the blog - hopefully - is going to get hit after hit - with traffic - and the payouts will go from dollars a day, to hundred, to even thousands.

Hopefully I will get enough mouse clicks to make something - anything.

Once I build this blog and become a little more sophisticated - I will need to find a good Host company.
